Badajoz Airport (BJZ) has domestic connections to Madrid and Barcelona. Lisbon Airport (~2h drive) offers wider international connectivity.
Regular train services connect Badajoz with Madrid; the journey takes approximately 4–5 hours.
Badajoz sits on the A-5 motorway, roughly 4 hours from Madrid and 2 hours from Lisbon by car. Badajoz can also be reached from Seville by road, around 2–2.5 hours away.
Spain is part of the Schengen Area. Depending on nationality, participants may need a Schengen visa to attend the conference. Visa requirements should be checked with the nearest Spanish embassy or consulate well in advance.
Upon request, the organizing committee can issue an official invitation letter for registered, paying delegates to support the visa application process.
